So those excerpts of my novel that I talked about? Yes, well, the first one has been posted! Let us all pray that there will come a time when all of you will see these words on the printed page...and not stuffed in a termite-eaten shoebox. Being clawed at by a rabid cat. Suffering immense water damage. Sitting under a quilt of grimy rags. Or maybe ...oh, how imaginative I am! [Insert anxious giggle here.]  

A Jubilant Slice of June!

As a wonderful introduction to summer, I thought that I would post a piece that reflects the lifestyle revived when this warm air and encompassing spirit of nature begin to reside within our lives once more. This specific slice is actually the beginning of a novel that I have after meticulous thought given up on. Or have I....?

A Marvelous Slice of May!

Make that a marvelously late slice of may. Finals are in full swing, and we all know how Machiavelli's emphasis on "the ends" tirelessly blesses the American  education system. Anyway, I am sure that all of you will share my sentiment that it is extremely pleasurable to look out of one's windows in this rejuvenating time of year. That, and a few political or personal principles as well, are what snake through this piece. Enjoy "Plea"!
